WHY ARE WE STILL DOING THIS? (to use Trumpy all caps).

Group A is hateful and protective of their prejudices.

Group B is embracing of everyone's choice.

As far as I know, no one in Group B is trying to limit the ability of people in Group A to associate with whomever they wish. They are after all in favor of individual / group choice as long as that choice isn't opposed to someone else's choice.

You're in favor of constitutional liberty or you're opposed to it.

But people in Group A claim to be more aligned to constitutional values than people in Group B.

It makes no sense.

I can't understand it.
