Twitter was always geared to foster snarky, self-promoting ripostes over constructive, engaged dialogue. Elon Musk was drawn to this feature like a fly to excrement, and bought the platform so that he could expand the misinformation and vitriol, embracing phobes of all varieties. Facebook / Meta is only slightly less bad.

Blue Sky (from what I can tell and from what you say here) hopes to build communities of people who want to share ideas and engage in discussion.

I'm not familiar with Black Twitter, but ideally it will find a nurturing place on Blue Sky, and the participants will interact with other communities dedicated to building a more democratic society of compassionate, open-minded citizens from the entire world.
