This whole battle is like a sitcom from hell.

Imo, all the racist Lost Cause paraphernalia should made public but with a detailed plaque explaining how pernicious the people previously having been honored were, and with descriptions of the aftermath of the glorification of these scoundrels (lynchings, ,etc.)
