This I think is the weakest (most spurious, depending on your pov) of their many weak (spurious) claims. How, for example, can a unit on black feminism (featuring bell hooks among many other significant thinkers) "lack educational value"? Now a critic of the original curriculum might disagree with what the coursework is attempting to teach, but that doesn't mean that the unit in particular "lack[s] educational value."

I'm sure everyone here remembers the old saying to the effect that "the victors write the history." The DeSantis regime is trying to become victors by seizing control of the writing. Fortunately, they can't control all sources of information. Ultimately, the defenders of ignorance will be defeated.
