I did a deep dive in my favorites for 1984, and this freaking masterpiece is the result: it's timeless (way better than "Boys of Summer"), a unique combination of nostalgia and anger, depicting the tragic power of the past over the present ("Now I'm standing in the doorway with water in my shoes").
