There’s a reason why Trump’s “ignorant armies” of night favor nihilism over order and rationality.

They believe that ever since the 1950’s, traditional politicians have abandoned them by abrogating racism, misogyny, and theocracy. They’re willing to burn down the mission, without having a clear replacement in the wings. We should not seek to bring them back into the fold — they’ll only urinate in the collective bed. We should allow these brave crusaders to secede and start anew somewhere else — preferably in Argentina, where they’ll find a few elderly supporters.
