There are trolls who want to decimate anyone they disagree with, and there are trolls who simply want to argue (sometimes, it's not evident at first that people who seem to want to argue simply want to steamroller over the OP). I have found myself spending more time arguing with the non-spiteful trolls (I ignore the spiteful ones) than with writing a new (and more interesting) article.

Lately I've found myself ignoring the Medium superstars, even though their wisdom sounds helpful, and focusing on the less well known writers who are pouring their souls into their articles.
