The two songs here remind me a bit of Yes and Genesis, but without the excesses and pomposity of those groups. I much prefer the simplicity and authenticity of Troika.

Overall, the positive, assured vibe are reminiscent of the 1971 album "A Better World" by Brian Auger's Oblivion Express--another consistent but ultimately uncategorizable work.
