The spectrum of saxophone playing / saxophone solos is very wide. Within that range, each individual player stakes out her or his territory. Everybody contributes something; a few players (like Clarence Clemmons here) bestow on us a perfected grace. Jake's playing isn't the same as his uncle's, but he contributes his own gift. I'm sure his uncle is proud from wherever he is.
