The Florida Social Studies Standards do mention Nat Turner. The Black Seminoles are referred to (but not as a rebellion). The stories of Denmark Vesey, the Haitian rebellion, the Creole ship, and the Amistad, and other uprisings are not included in those "standards." Pretending that enslavement wasn't that bad is part of the Department of Education's agenda.
