On a similar (but different) front, I'm working on a series about arrangers (mostly for instrumental 50's-70's work--arrangers as I'm sure you know aren't quite the same as producers, but there is some overlap) and I'll have a separate post about one of the few female arrangers (Melba Liston) in about a month.
