Supremes first, Stevie Wonder second. Happy dancing!

Here's a Swede Pop suggestion (about dancing and it has a good beat). I prefer this live version.

Lykke Li, "Everybody but Me" https://youtu.be/rQ6TtkrpT_Q?si=M3Cw2048wAw_E8Fq

The Swede Pop song below is about fathers and daughters, but it's not very danceable and I don't think the lyrics fit your situation (at least I hope they don't). Your post and my research have encouraged sending it out to my long departed father though (not that he and I were dancers). "Dad, it seems you can't clear away the smoke Of fires you can't find" FWIW, I think Annika Norlin is the most interesting and literate lyricist in the last 30 years.
