"Standard rock fare": For someone growing up in the 60's, Abraxas was like water to a fish. I never owned the album but I lived the songs on an almost daily basis. It was in the air like the hum of electric power lines next to your house.
This is a very nice appreciation--not that I would have expected anything less.
P.S.: it's taken me decades to appreciate him, but Tito Puente is pretty darn cool.
