Some time in the 90's I joined a subscription service (x number of downloads for y dollars, with listener reviews and curated profiles) in order to find out what I had missed since the 70's, and one of my discoveries was Jules Shear. I really appreciated his pop craftsmanship, though today I don't remember what I heard. "If She Knew" is solid writing and singing / instrumentation. 95
I should complain that the Bangles version is slick and overproduced, but hell I'm only human. It's so damn good. (better than the British video imo). 98
