Some real classics here. Although I was only 10 at the time, I still remember them well (except Miller's Cave)--of course most of them survived on the air for years or even decades afterwards.

Elvis: 98. One of my favorites of his; it'll probably last another century or two.

Chubby: 92 "official music video"? Ignoring the bad lip syncing (common at the time), the energy of the song is undeniable.

Rolf: 36. Never liked this one. Reminds me a bit of the phony internationalism of "Dominique" by The Singing Nun. "Waltzing Matilda" was popular in my youth, and I think it's a much better song (whether it's an authentic Australian song or not, I don't know).

Hank Lockliln: 98. As unforgettable as the Elvis number.

Hank Snow: 89. The only song I hadn't heard. Darn, those were some morbid times (I remember you've taught this genre). I did a little checking--geographically it's pretty inaccurate, but that doesn't ruin it for me (what do I know about Canadian geography?). Still, he did claim to have been everywhere. https://youtu.be/_oqzy8HU6dQ?si=Em1nMGVVCNzJNlgB

The Everglades are in Florida--it's the Okefenokee Swamp in Waycross, and there are no mountains in south GA (where I grew up, not even any big hills--btw Gram Parsons is from Waycross, and once described it as the armpit of the South), Tiger Mountain is in NE GA
