Representative Barry Loudermilk (GA-11) makes Trump look like Niels Bohr. Unlike Trump, who does admit there is a problem, Loudermilk thinks that climate change is just a natural phenomenon:

“I believe that climate change is a function of nature; the climate has been changing as long as the Earth has existed,” he said.

“We absolutely should be good stewards of the planet, and I am very much opposed to reckless pollution and disregard for the environment, but I also know that some politicians and bureaucrats believe in whatever theory gives them an opportunity to take money from the energy sector and spend it themselves in the name of saving the planet.” (Source: AJC)

Not surprisingly, Loudermilk praised Trump for withdrawing from the Paris Agreement.

In order to protect against “reckless pollution” Loudermilk co-signed a bill to abolish the EPA. But after news reports about a toxic gas used by a company in his own district, Loudermilk pressed the same EPA for answers:

“Given the recent reports regarding the use of this chemical gas by Sterigenics, and the potential health risks associated with breathing it in the air, it is imperative for citizens in my District, and the surrounding area, to get answers to our concerns,” Loudermilk said. Source: AJC

For his commitment to the environment, Loudermilk earned a perfect score from the League of Conservation Voters: 0.

A committed believer in the right of parents to make vaccination choices without government interference, Loudermilk and his wife did not vaccinate their home-schooled children for mumps and measles.

Punchline: In the Georgia House of Representatives, Loudermilk was on the Science and Technology Committee, and in the U. S. House, he was on the Science, Space, and Technology Committee until recently.
