Question from the Guidelines:
The Album Cafe will not publish any stories that contain song lyrics.
I followed this rule with Plethora after it was set up there, but a thorough album review would tend to need at least a brief quotation for one or more of the songs, for example "You have me laughing like a lunatic / That just got away, / Howling like a hypocrite / At an auto-da-fe" (from "Tent" by the Bonzo Dog Band). It would seem to be a valid example of that U.S. copyright law calls fair use (for literary criticism / educational purposes). I understand the prohibition against publishing entire lyrics for a particular song. (I assume it would be okay to link to a lyrics site to provide listeners with the full picture).
