Probably my favorite tv theme song is from a show I've never seen--the 1960's psychological drama "Breaking Point" scored by David Raksin (the composer of the immortal film score for Laura). I have it on an lp of theme songs by Lionel Newman, but alas it's not available on YouTube, only on Spotify and qobuz--here's a snippet from the latter--track 11 : https://www.qobuz.com/ie-en/album/magic-screen-63-lionel-newman/zgilwnrm1p8wa ). Edgy, angsty, and unsettling. An episode from YouTube: the theme music starts at 57:23: https://youtu.be/K1Z3q_OYtis
If you don't have those services, here as a consolation is Billy May's theme song for the 50's noir tv series Naked City: https://youtu.be/dhHHmacuDCI
