For Greta Thunberg
Donald Trump wants Greta Thunberg to stop being angry and chill out (i.e. to shut up). I hope she keeps doing what she’s doing, but I’d like her to be as happy as possible while persevering.
So I’ve put together a few songs that motivate me to keep going whenever it seems like a gang of eco-criminals are winning in their quest to destroy the planet for the sake of a short-term profit. I don’t know that Greta will ever see this list, but I hope all concerned people here can find some inspiration and maybe even happiness in their struggle.

The Turtles’ album “Battle of the Bands” uses the concept of competition between different musical groups to represent the conflicts between nations that threaten our existence. For the finale “Earth Anthem,” all the bands unite in a plea for harmony and love for our natural world.
