One tactic both Trump and McEnany use is to refuse to allow a reporter to ask a follow-up question. I've noticed that sometimes a second reporter will relinquish his / her question in order to pose the follow-up. This seems to irk Trump / McEnany (because it challenges the implication that their side is just as valid as anyone else's), and they try to duck the follow-up with a personal

attack. I'd like to see the entire press corps pass the baton until Trump / McEnany either answered the question or refused to do so, instead of playing dodge ball. Of course Trump / McEnany will claim that the liberal media is ganging up on them, but they'll say that anyway.
