Once again we agree on Neil Young (including "Cowgirl in the Sand."

Those prices for new vinyl are ridiculous. For my taste, the greatest travesty is an album that has never been reissued on vinyl or even CD: Jennifer Warnes' "Jennifer," produced by John Cale. Technically it is available as a CD--from Japan for upward of $70: https://www.amazon.com/Jennifer-JENNIFER-WARNES/dp/B00B9HEB8A/ref=pd_sim_1/145-4219781-7631432

I recommend spending more time in thrift stores. It may take years to find a particular choice, but if it turns out to be unplayable, you're only out a buck or two. But the best part is finding something you didn't know you were looking for. Hopefully soon, I'm going to post a series about my vinyl explorations.

Btw, I've only bought a handful of albums on Discogs, but the prices were very reasonable and most were graded accurately.
