Not a Scoby Doo fan (didn't grow up with that series--I did chew a lot of Bazooka Joe bubble gum, what a shameful "franchise"--movies based on gum wrappers?!?!?), but your essay reminds me to check out the Flanagan Haunting film (and his other works).
