Nice (and a little surprising) to see a profile of Claudine Longet here. I remember both sides, but I didn't know she was being reissued. Andy Williams' performance of "Solitaire" (in my view) is more tragic than most of his songs and may reflect the tragedy of this story.

I much prefer Beverly Kenney (who has her own tragic story). Kenney' vocals have the vulnerability of Longet's, but with more strength and irony as well. She's been reissued, but still hasn't achieved the fame she deserves.
