Many people prefer the follow-up, "Falling Off the Edge of the World" (which sounds a bit more contemporary than "Friday on My Mind"), but I like both.

I also used to have the first album by Vanda / Young (as Flash and the Pan); my memory is that the writing was quite good (and well-received by critics).
