Like your religious blogging, this article is thoughtful and balanced. I think the main villain (other than Fremlin of course) is Thacker. Given a chance after Munro's death to make a statement that would show compassion for Andrrea Skinner and other victims of abuse and might help prevent such atrocities in the future, Thacker seems more concerned about protecting his reputation and maintaining support for a culture of silence and denial. He's not just an accomplice, he's a perpetrator.
