Jessica can probably tell you more--Can / Tago Mago is early Kraut Rock. My taste leans more to Kraftwerk or the more ambient bands like Cluster. Back then it was cool to show you knew Can, and I guess it still is.

I haven't looked at the list yet, but I am dead certain that I agree with you about the worst. I actually saw them on the Tarkus tour and owned the album, and I will regret both to my dying day (like that old Peter Sellers quote, "If I could do it all over again, I'd do all the same things except I wouldn't see The Magus").

1971 is my candidate for the greatest year in music--I'll look at the list later and reply.
