I've always hated the album cover but like practically everybody from my generation loved the song. The na-na-na-na chorus is so strong it sounds good even when sung by a roomful of drunken college students (which wasn't an uncommon occasion).

DeCarlo still had a pretty good set of pipes as an oldster. I'm glad he got some support and acclaim from that PBS concert.
