Irreversible was a controversial topic among my old Facebook group (most of the people there were writers / screenwriters, a number of them women). The discussion dissuaded me from watching the film, and I may continue to do so.

Brick--quite good, but not a Shudder film certainly.

Goodnight Mommy--enthralling. Probably worth watching again.

The other films on your "Adore" list look quite good. Thanks for the recommendations--I'll especially keep an eye out for Jane Doe. (I'm not on Shudder--tried it out briefly and liked the films there though). If you haven't yet seen The Wailing, I highly recommend it. It's my favorite horror film from the last few decades--the most effective location for horror is in the mind of the viewer (disclaimer: there are lots of horror films that I haven't seen).
