In my neck of the south, our fall celebrations are a little like the festivals I've seen depicted in Midsomer Murders (lots of booths selling things), but not as colorful or historical (and with fewer homicides). I have seen wild turkeys in the field across from our house (you may know that Ben Franklin wanted the wild turkey, not the bald eagle, to be our national bird, and I try to honor his wish by an "occasional" sip of Wild Turkey 101).

Raising a virtual glass of cider to you now, David, in celebration of the season and your glorious posts.
