I’m among the most cynical of Boomers, but I think she’s just fine. Why is it a novelty that someone her age is speaking out? People of all ages are speaking out, and not just on this issue. From what I understand, she has not asked to be a celebrity; she’s simply expressing her views in what for her is the most effective way.
