I'm always a fan of the odd and the eccentric, and even to my ears (after a partial listen to Colloquies and Soliloquy), Mueller sounds different. It's not that he's deliberately off-kilter, just that he's not afraid to follow his own spirit. I know the Pink Moon album pretty well, and Mueller's "Things Behind the Sun" isn't a cover; it's an alternate universe.
