I'm a retired teacher, so that skews my viewpoint, but yes, I think educational inequity is the first thing to start fixing. It may not look like the biggest problem, but it's the most essential. If we don't offer equal opportunity starting at pre-K because we're occupied with other inequities, then we'll always be playing catch-up.
