I'll get back to you--these look awesome, and your writing as always is wonderful. Except Evanescence, all are new to me (symphonic rock, e.g. Mike Oldfield) is comfortable territory; symphonic metal--less so.

Just curious, how would you classify Mono (and especially the Mono / World's End Girlfriend collaboration "Palmless Prayer")? I'd normally consider Mono under some sort of thrash umbrella, but with World's End Girlfriend, the mix gets complicated, weird even.
