If Hill is the horrible, selfish person you say she is (and I'm not agreeing or disagreeing with this assessment--I don't know her), then she would probably have been a horrible, selfish mother, and the fetus-turned-child-turned-adult would have suffered.

If, on the other hand, Hill simply wanted to achieve certain personal / career goals before having a child, then any childen she might have borne after this success would benefit from their mother's eventual achievement.

Furthermore, I'm not sure how the color of the person she chooses as a partner has any impact on the questionableness of her decision to have an abortion--if it's a bad decision, it seems to me that race isn't the cause of that flaw. If her partner had been black, would you find her decision to have an abortion more acceptable?
