I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the Kinks song that's been playing in my mind lately--"All God's Children" from the soundtrack of the film "Percy" (a smarmy British comedy about a penis transplant, which the music subverts). Ray Davies' song isn't intended to be an attack on homophobia, but it turns our attention to compassion and understanding which are so obviously missing from the MAGA movement.
