I wish the DNC were as powerful as their detractors claim. Then at least we’d have someone in charge instead of the clueless incompetents who pretend to be running the show.

Obama figured out how to solicit contributions without their involvement; Sanders further refined this strategy by recruiting supporters as well as donors on his own. Clinton manipulated them as though they were pawns.

The DNC has no plan B, no placeholder candidate in the wings. They have no plan A. They have no plan at all.

I suppose it’s comforting to believe in an evil mastermind who can be blamed for one’s political failings. The frightening reality is that there’s not even a little man behind the curtain.
