I wasn't into Jeff Buckley when he was alive (but I did hear Tim Buckley--on record--when he was).

You're about a year or more ahead of me on the rest (I discovered Neutral Milk Hotel obliquely from the title / allusion of John Vanderslice's 1970 Mass Occult Figurines, e.g.). But it's a great relief for this boomer to find a list where I've actually heard all the musicians.
