I often prefer post-anything to most standard anything, so postmodern and postpunk may be a bit of a tie.
The LCD Soundsystem melded various styles effortlessly. It's compelling, but I don't hear the rhumba. Is the title supposed to be a joke, or is the rhythm too complex for me to hear the Latin element? 87
Wire actually incorporates a rhumba rhythm. I would automatically give any punk / post-punk a handicap for going Latin (though I know there are precedents for this), and an extra handicap for being so concise brings the Wire total up to 87.
A tie!
