I haven't "won" an election since I was able to vote (McGovern in 1972). But then again, I wasn't on the ballot. Most of the people I liked on the federal and state level (Shirly Chisholm, Larry Agran, Dennis Kucinich, Jan Cox--in Georgia) never made it to the general election.

Of course, the trajectory of the nation is far more complex than what I personally would like it to be. I am not the King of America.

What's far more important is what we do in those in months other than Novembers of years divisible by 4.

John Lewis wasn't clubbed in the head on the Pettus Bridge during a presidential election cycle. Your focus on Biden / Trump / Bernie Sanders says more about your promotion of your own "progressive" White privilege and your infatuation with celebrity politics than it does about the struggle to achieve equality and justice in America.
