I had always imagined Glastonbury as a Mecca of progressive music, because many of my favorite prog bands had played there. Apparently it's more of a hodgepodge. Ozric Tentacles?!?! I'd rather watch Tom Jones.
Sad about the Lou Reed performance. (Granddad alert:) I saw him circa 1972, and while the concert was okay, the audience (scads of Bowie / Ziggy Stardust impersonators) was more interesting. Remember, at their early concerts, the VU played with their back to the audience. Apparently for the "real" Lou Reed, you have to stick with the records. Anyone else with an alternative experience?
