I enjoy these rambles as much as I expect Max enjoys his daily walks. It's the sound of a life being remembered at the same time that it's being lived.
I've recently kept coming back (in my mind) to "Have a Laugh" by our fellow Georgia (born in Newnan)-Alabama (grew up in Gadsden) singer/songwriter Steve Young, and the lines "Tell that watcher in your mind / That you're not running out of time."
Your essays tell me that (in spite of my greatly advanced years) I'm not running out of time.
