I didn't know any of these songs, but of course I'm a bit familiar with Alabama (have been to the museum in Fort Payne, which by the way is also known as "The Sock Capital of the World," featuring several stores selling nothing but hosiery).
"Song of the South": catchy, bouncy. I do have this problem with the video however--while the footage is skillfully chosen and edited, I only noticed one Black farmer (from the back). Defining the South (especially the poor, hard-working South) as white should be a jailable offense. A bit of irony: the title of "Gone With the Wind" referred to in the lyrics comes from a poem by the fin de siecle British decadent poet and contemporary of Oscar Wilde, Ernest Dowson. Song itself: 90
Georgia Satellites: not familiar with their music; not my favorite genre, but the guitar work is fine. 85
Texas Tornados: infectious, with a sense of authentic history from the video itself. Love the squeeze box. 97
