I actually like the final phase (and saw them in concert at that time, and during the arena phase, the Schoolboys in Disgrace tour, and the Soap Opera tour). It's more Ray Davies-ish than Kink-ish. You might consider subdividing the Stadium Rock era by designating a Julien Temple category (the videos for State of Confusion and Do It Again, e.g., but also Ray's work on "Absolute Beginners" and "It's All True"--as a diehard Kinks fan, I've actually seen "It's All True," at a BFI screening no less).
