Great review--personal and objective, and insightful on both counts.

I've heard almost all of KC's work through Red (never got into the modern "Discipline" era--which is way too disciplined / aggro for my taste, and I like every solo / collaboration Fripp album I've heard), but the only two KC albums I've lived with are Islands and Red. I'd be perfectly content if they were the only music available on my desert island.
