Great finds--it pays to take a chance (especially for a buck). You're going to think I'm crazy, but may I recommend a Lawrence Welk album (easy to find, should be cheap): Winchester Cathedral. Why the heck? Because it's one of the few Welks that are arranged by the brilliant Charles Albertine. Here's Mais Que Nada from that album--doesn't sound a bit like the bubble man (that may be Albertine on piano--he's quite adept at Latin music): https://youtu.be/PAcHkSvXRxQ

Born Free from the same album is a hoot, much like some of Albertine's more epic film score versions like "The Long Ships" https://youtu.be/RrectKMR95U).

Baja Marimba Band is good too--there are scads of imitators who don't make the grade, however.

My local Goodwill has gone to hell in a handbasket. Ten or so albums that I wouldn't take if they paid me to. Ideally it'll recover, but I think the national chain is cherrypicking. Stick with the independent charity shops (I'll post about this at some point).
