Great choices and explanations.

If you do another series, you might consider Hello Saferide's "I Was Definitely Made for These Times," which is a response to Brian Wilson's "I Guess I Just Wasn't Made for These Times."

It's a fairly complex response, because while the protagonist of the Hello Saferide song is complacent--proud even--to have no sense of history (or empathy), Norlin (Saferide) undercuts this attitude, and her sympathies definitely reside with Wilson, rather than with the narcisstic protagonist.
