Goulet is a horrible vocalist--phony overblown operatic style. Jim Nabors is more natural.
There are lots of decent mid-century male singers--not just the giants like Sinatra or Bennett, but many who are overlooked today (e.g. Steve Lawrence). Goulet is not one of these. And the 50's-60's is the golden age of female vocalists. So much good music from the past, so little time.
