FWIW, there were special 7" EP's recorded at 33 rpm, with selected tracks from the original, designed for playback on certain jukeboxes. You would select one of the tracks for your quarter (or whatever the fee was).

I have a copy of a jukebox EP for "Their Satanic Majesties Request" by the Stones (don't know if there were Beatles EP's) and also one that was created from Nina Simone's debut album (but not by the label that released the LP). These are rarer and thus tend to be more expensive than their extended LP counterparts.
