For the parallel to be exact, the wealthy white US enslavers would have had to be at one time themselves the victims of oppression, and we know that never happened. The occupying forces / Likud in Israel and the recent Hamas militants are unique in that they are both the victims of historical oppression and the perpetrators of oppression against others.

The more precise parallel to the Nat Turner rebellion would be the revolt against apartheid in South Africa. As far as I know, Nelson Mandela and his followers did not resort to gratuitous cruelty (and neither did Nat Turner)..
