For Sanders supporters (or anyone else) to effect “root and branch” reform of the Democratic Party, they have to start at the roots — the local county-level organizations. I haven’t seen any evidence of young progressives joining locally and taking control. The problems with the DNC are the result of inertia from the local and state leadership.
